Fees & Payment
The fee for the initial visit is $175. After that, my session fee is $135.
I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance, meaning that our work together is still covered by your insurance, but at a different rate than if I were in-network. Health insurance policies usually provide some out-of-network coverage for mental health treatment. Payment is expected when services are rendered unless we make other arrangements. I am happy to submit the paperwork to your insurance company on your behalf, once a month. Your insurance company will reimburse you directly since you will already have paid for the service.
I offer reduced fees for those with a limited income. I discuss this on a case-by-case basis with each patient so we can come to an agreement about a fee that s/he can afford.
I accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover (credit and debit), and Flex Spending Account (FSA)/Health Care Reimbursement Account cards.
An evaluation will last from one to two sessions. During this time we can both decide if I am the best person to provide the services you need in order to meet your treatment goals. If psychotherapy is begun I will schedule one 50-minute session per week at a time we agree on.
Once an appointment hour is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it unless you provide 24 hours' advance notice of cancellation.
Insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for cancelled or missed sessions.
